Our Mission is to invite all to know, love and serve God through
Christ Jesus.
The children at the Cathedral have a place to call
their own. The Children's Activity Room, Children's Chapel, and
Sunday School classrooms are all places of fun and discovery as
children learn Bible truths.
Children from ages 3 to grade 5 are welcome in our program!
We have many opportunities for fun, worship, fellowship, service
and education. We also provide activities for families to join
together and form relationships with each other.
We invite
your child to come and grow in Christ with our Cathedral family.
Some of the programs that have been offered are: ALPHA, Crown
Ministries, The Divine Drama I and II,
Preparation for Toddler Years,
Shaped by the Word, Conversational Spanish, Spiritual Gifts Workshop-Discovering
God's Vision for Your Life, Walking the Mourner's Path, the Peacemakers and classes
related to healthy living.

The
Children's Church at the Cathedral
Sundays at 10:00 a.m. - The Children's Chapel is located in the Chapter
House, basement level.
In Children's Church, kids discover characteristics of God like "Jesus
hears us", "Jesus loves us"- and many other reasons
why God is worthy of our praise. Each week, preschool and elementary
children focus on God in a personal way, and experience worship through
fun songs and memorable Bible learning.
Children
will experience the "Wonderfully Made" curriculm full of
drama skits, puppets, small group discussion, and powerful worship
music.

Liturgical
Passport Program
We are excited to announce a fun new program for our
kids called "Passport to the Liturgical Year".
The Passport Station will be set up on special Sundays and at different
Cathedral events. Children will have the chance to get their
passport stamped, pick up a scripture bookmark and receive a special
surprise.
The passport follows the church calendar and helps
kids follow the seasons and observances of our liturgical year. We will also learn about the colors, symbols and scripture for
each season. This
is a fun and interactive way to teach what is often an abstract and
complex part of our worship.
